What a great little ski area for beginners. Staff are really nice and helpful.
I believe Northeast Slopes promises to "put a smile on your face." I was smiling the whole four hours I skied there. My visit here was my first time back on downhill skis in 30 years, and Northeast Slopes was a great place to restart. And for $15? You won't find a better deal anywhere doing anything. This place is great.
We had an excellent visit to Northeast ski slopes yesterday. What a nice small ski area. Run entirely by volunteers. The only extremely minor disappointment was the kitchen wasn't open so we couldn't have any of the famous burgers.
Northeast Slopes is a great local ski area that’s a lot of fun and a different experience than skiing a larger mountains. Vermont’s oldest ski area features a T-Bar and 2 rope-toes and about a dozen trails, ranging from beginner to expert glades. The area is really family friendly, and even offers a lodge which serves lunch/dinner. Highly recommend visiting, also Beetlejuice fans may notice the lift “shed” looks familiar.
Took my kids 7 and 10 for their first downhill experience and my first in 25 years. What a delight. 30 year ski veteran "Boo" jumped right in to help my kids learn to ski and ride the rope tow. This volunteer run non profit mountain is a treasure. Moderate slopes with gentle hills and glades, snack bar, friendly staff and patient patrons all around.
Excellent skiing, excellent food! Fun family atmosphere ! Very inexpensive, full day skiing and half day adult and child rates available and seasonal packages are very inexpensive as well ! Family and individual packages . This hill is great fun for the entire family, rope tow for the little ones, or beginners , and a fairly new T-Bar for the more experienced!
SUPER FUN when there's snow. Plenty of non groomed trails and groomers for a small ski area. T-bar needs a little getting used to, but the lifties are very informative. 5 stars.
I attended a small community fund raising event. It was held out on the sky slope. Great music by local bluegrass artists. There were a few food vendors and a beer tent. Very family oriented environment with a bouncy house and face painting. Also plenty of space for children to run & play. I plan to go again next year.
